Paddle - Bike - Hike
We love getting people on the water or on the bike paths! Make your rental reservation today. We have a variety of boats, bikes, and paddleboards. All of our rentals go out of Farmstead Bike Shop in Northfield, MN. We send boaters out on the Cannon River -from near Faribault to Dundas or Northfield- or Union Lake. We do NOT run a shuttle yet, instead we lock up the boats at the put-in for you to retrieve and you’ll locked them up at the take-out.

About The Cannon River
She’s a bit of a fickle river but beautiful and lazy too. We use the water gauge at Faribault to predict paddling conditions. If you make reservations far in advance but it turns out the river is too low or two high on the day your adventure is planned we recommend pivoting to Union Lake instead or we can refund your trip so you can rebook another day.

In the warmer months we rent multiple types of kayaks, stand up paddle boards and bicycles. In the winter we rent snowshoes and as well as nordic skis.
